STOP and share His light!

Come state? I hope all is well in the states!! This week was long but good!!! Love the mission!

I had an exchange this week and we stayed here in Vicenza and had many cool prayer lessons in the park! Its amazing how the Lord truly prepares the way! But first He requires us to have faith and boy did we! Faith is really just trying and trusting! 

The coolest thing I found this week was listening to the spirit after a prayer. Here in the mission we pray like 12983247 times a day. Ok maybe not that many but a lot!! Yesterday me and my companion didnt know where to go. We knelt in prayer and i had a thought come to my mind to visit a lady in our ward. We went without question and she ended up being very kind to us. We shared a short message and then came to find her family isnt members. It was amazing that small random thought that was a good thought came from the Lord!! I know it!

Another thing we have been doing here in Italy! Getting members and others ready for Easter!! There will be a video coming out March 28th for Christmas!!! It will be beautiful and is similar to Because of Him and He is the Gift but its called Because He Lives!! I know our Savior lives today. He knows us and made it possible to have eternal life! Lets all be an example to others by sharing this light with others!! He is the light and the way!! 

You are a light on a hill, cannot be hidden cannot be still! Share his light!!!

No Biting!

Ciao Tutti!!!!!!!!!!

I love my mission, its the best thing ever really. Its not the easiest thing but its the best thing. Okay...so this week we met some awesome people in parks! 1 Fulvia, we talked about God and how we must trust in Him always so when the hard times come they wont be hard! 2 another man...dont remember his name...sorry. He said right away he wasnt interested but yet he kept talking to him. He didnt believe in God and he didnt want to listen any time we opened our mouths. He then went on to say that we were youth and we would find that there is no God. Yep right then I wanted to bite him a little bit. Thats rude I know but I know what I have felt! And for someone to tell me that my mind will change...oh no you didnt haha. Well I tried in a respectful way to say no I know what I have felt thank you, Good night. I started walking away and look back and my companion is still talking to him. What a cutie this comp....I was ready to be done but she was continuing to let him feel a little of the hope we have. I learned so much from this experience and I hope you all can too. 1st dont need to be mad at our heavenly brothers and sisters and 2nd when sharing our testimony and having these experiences our testimonies grow!!

I know that God lives. He is real. He is not far, He is close, but only if we allow Him to be close. I know that I can receive His strength when I am living my best. I hope others can feel close to Him too, because life without Him, well its not fun people.

Vicenza!!

Ho dimenticato come parlare Inglese!! Just kidding I know how to speak English...a little.

I landed on heaven. Vicenza is beautiful and I just feel so blessed to be here!!! The people are beautiful as well!! I decided I want to live here someday. yep. 

So here we have a military ward that is incredible to say the least and a Italian branch! Also amazing!!!  Really I cant explain my love for these people and for this gospel.

Yesterday we taught the Restoration to a less active and I felt this incredible peace come over me. I know this is Jesus Christs church. It is simple and it is beautiful! It is his restored church on earth today! I know I have a Savior who loves me and cares for me. I know I have a God who knows me perfectly and I lived with Him before this earth! I want to live with Him after as well and I know I can if I follow my Savior!! 

I am so happy here. This place is incredible! My companion Sorella Back is soooooo great!!! 

Here is a miracle I sent to president: 

Miracoli: I am so very happy to be here in Vicenza! Not only is the city beautiful but also the people here seem to just be so happy and ready for the gospel! I love my new companion Sorella Back and have definitley felt like this is where we need to be. One the way to correlation this week the Elders were showing us how to get to the church and we started talking to a man who had seen missionaries before. We were talking and then we realized two other ladies were listening. We all started talking to everyone on the bus! It was incredible how interested everyone was! We also met with a less active named Anna yesterday. She was baptized just last year and then the sisters here left and she hasnt been seen yet. She has many problems and feels alone, we had a great lesson about our Savior and the Restoration! This lesson was so great, inspired questions asked and inspired answers received!! I know this is the Lords work!!

La Fede

Ciao Tutti!!!

This week like many has been great!!! Alita was baptized!! Sorella Skinner filled the font and well lets just remind you all that my hands are always freezing no matter the temperature outside. So hot water to me is really boiling water to others. So we fill the font and I think its perfect then the Elders come and put a finger in and shreak. woops. You live and you learn. I told them, I just really wanted the people being baptized to feel the spirit super strong. hahah this just shows missionaries are not perfect and I am still Katelyn Skinner. hahaha

This week I found out that I will be leaving my home of Navigli. :( Mama mia I love these people and cant explain how much they have helped me and how great it has been to see the gospel change their lives. But as sad as it is to leave I know the Lord needs me now in Vicenza!!! There is a military base there so a English branch and Italian ward, I believe. There have not been missionaries there for about a year so it will be a very fresh start and a bit challenging but I am up for it!!!  My companion is Sorella Back (Beck) and she is from Germany! She was companions with Sorella Boscia before me.

I know I am going to have to have faith (fede) and diligence (diligenza)!! 1 Nephi 16:29. I know that if we have faith and diligence and trust in the Lord we can do anything!!!! I know that the Lords love for us is infinite. 

I am sad to be leaving my home I have had here in Milano now for 4 months because I have meet people who I want to share more with, but I know that I have tried to be an instrument in the Lords hands and tried to plant the seed.

So excited for my new adventures that I will see in Vicenza!!!
