2 more hours and I love you

Ciao Tutti!!!

Okay so this week was an incredible week here in Vicenza. hashtagblessed, ok thats embarrassing i cant find the hashtag on the keyboard, anyway haha.

Well we have had some great lessons with our new friends about the Plan of Happiness. I know that it really is a plan of happiness, why? Because God wants our Happiness!!! This week my District leader gave us a great talk by Robert H Todd with two great questions. 

1. What attributes do you want to have as a child of God?

2. What do you want to be like the day you stand in front of God?

Wooh...pretty deep huh? But really I want to be ready to meet my loving Heavenly Father who has blessed me with so much. And I have found that I seem more ready and confident when I read the Book of Mormon that gives me peace I cant even describe. It helps me know my Savior who is the way back to heaven above. 

Another cool thing, we met a great lady this week named Vera. She is from Nigeria and her mom is a member. We talked for just 2 hours but seemed to become great friends!! I then said goodbye and walked off the bus and just seemed amazed that I said I love you! After 2 hours then I love you. Well as we come to love God we will love others. 

I saw that example this week as well with my friends Mary and Bimbo. They came and helped at a helping hands service project. They told me they wanted to do it to help God, and we show our love to God by serving others. How great these people are that are changing my heart. I am forever grateful for Italy and for the people God is putting in my path.

Love you all!! Thanks for the birthday wishes. I am now 20, no longer can have the excuse of being a teenager but now have to just be the weird lady. haha kidding?

I believe in miracles

This week like many has made me realize how God has a plan exactly for us and how we all contribute to this plan for not only ourselves but others! This week we were walking along the street headed to the park when we saw our new friends Bimbo and Mary! We ended up being introduced to their friend Kofi ( Coffee)! What a happy guy! How amazing it was to see Gods hands work into this day! But these days dont just happen out of nothing. We have to work to fullfill and help in these miracles. And we work but having complete faith in our Savior. In the bible dictionary it says If miracles cease it is because faith has ceased! 

I invite you all to have faith so that you can have joy and see miracles be brought to pass! 

Favorite scripture of the week Moroni 7:20--How is it possible that ye can lay hold upon every good thing?

verse 25-FAITH! (explains more too haha) 

I am truly grateful for this amazing gospel it has filled my life with happiness that I cant even explain. I know this gospel contains the fullness of happiness! I hope you all have faith and try to find that happiness!

Joy Comes!

Ciao Tutti!!!!

I hope and pray you all had a beautiful week full of Joy and appreciation for our Savior Jesus Christ!! We enjoyed our week and Easter! We had yummy food made by great members. And we got to listen to people called by God! I know they are called of God to help us prepare to meet God! We had two of our new friends come and watch it. They loved it!!! And rejoiced as we talked after about how lucky we are to know Jesus loves us! We can find so much joy in this life...through Jesus Christ!! Through Him we have second chances. Through Him we can find miracles daily! 

Mormon 9:20-21. He is a God of promises and He gave His son that we might return to Him if we follow Him. 

I would like to ask you like I have asked many this week here in Vicenza. Who is Jesus for you?

Great and nothing and puzzles!

Happy Easter!! Lots here in Italy are excited about this holiday! And so am I. I know that Christ lives. He is the way home. There are no short cuts. I thought of the Dora Explorer...cant go over it, cant go around it, got to go through it. There are those hard days but we know the way home! How lucky are we to have a direct path home!

John 16:33 Because of Christ we can have JOY! Real joy! 

Here is a cool thing that happened yesterday day. This is what I sent to President. Also another random cool thing. We talked to a nun. She thought we were Catholic and said she would love to work with us sometime and gave us her address. How cute and awkward but we are thinking about passing by!!! Cant you tell this woman is a nun??

Miracoli: This week was great visiting families and telling people about this great video! Because He lives. It has been fun following up on them as well and showing that we really care about this. The coolest miracle we saw this week though was Virginia (a new convert) and her mom (nonmember). We traveled an hour and a half to see them through bus. She is French and has lived in Italy for 20 years now but has a rough time speaking Italian but speaks English pretty well. We got to know her this visit and talked about seeing Gods hand in our lives and knowing we cant do anything without Him and Christ. She talked quite a bit but had an amazing spirit about her and has seen the influence the church has had on her daughters. She is so ready for the gospel! I usually dont cry in lessons but there was something special in this one.

We also felt the prayers of our loved ones especially yesterday as we met many great people through auto bus! We met Bimbo and Mary who are Africans. They have been in Vicenza now for just 6 months and have been looking for a church they said but couldnt find one (probably meaning the right church haha). They said they want to come and worship with us this Sunday. Sorella Back and I will try to fix a appointment with them right away so they can come to General Conference this weekend! 

Ok end of email...then there was also the cutest quote from Virginias mom. As she was talking and I felt of her great spirit I said...

You are just so great!

She responded: I am not great. I am nothing and its never felt so great to be nothing. (with the greatest laugh after)

I know what she meant. We are nothing...but nothing without our Savior or God. We have divine potential but only with their help! We are like pieces to a puzzle (go ahead laugh Ave--I will marry a 70 year old because I like puzzles). God  knows our shape and where to place us. If we trust in Him we can fit right into this puzzle!!
