Amuse me!

People crack me up. Whether it be random comments in a classroom that sound like people are swearing--he didn't no worries, teachers quoting Hannah Montana, two year olds telling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk on youtube, or a remote control car following you around well you are about to get a date, this life is a fun one and I think I will keep it. I enjoy laughing at these things that make life golden. Some parts of life are just plain embarrassing but those may be my favorite part. Mistakes are the best because we learn from them and find what we can avoid to love life more. Do what makes you happy, make others days if yours sucks, and keep going!

This week I had a ward volleyball game. Even though we lost and I touched the ball probably twice it was still fun. I had a random young man come up to me while I was talking to my friends and he stood a little too close for comfort and said, "I just wanted to tell you that you are so pretty, even though you are my enemy. I am in the other ward." Million shades of red. HAHA enemy? Such a cute young hoodlum and such a sweet compliment. Even in this scary world there are nice people, even if it was a dare.

Stressed to the Max. Yep, you got it. Along with millions of homework this weekend I also had to give a talk in church. 12 minutes? What do you want me to do put people to sleep, bring out snuggies for people so they can have a nap time? My goal three goals when I give a talk is to a) teach people through the spirit. b)make the congregation chuckle (can those 2 words be used in the same sentence?) and c) look semi cute. When I get nervous I end up saying stupid things. Before I texted my sister a selfie approval, she laughed when I said I should introduce myself by saying, "Hi, I am Katelyn Skinner and I am your next date." No worries I avoided such a crazy thing. I gave my first big girl talk on integrity. Even though I didn't have much time to prepare for the talk I am so grateful I got to share because I really needed to refresh myself on such an important topic. Without people full of integrity this earth would be an awful waffle place to live. I hope that I can always stand as a witness of God at all times in all places no matter what the situation. I am so lucky to have the gospel in my life and have a prophet who instructs us and helps us safely back to our eternal home.

No makeup, no smile. My reaction of my to do list this week.

Talk=done. Lucky to have randomness in my life because weird things make me happy!
CUTEST boy ever!
