I have been praying for this weekend to come faster and faster because I have been looking forward to it for weeks! Want to know why this weekend was so attractive? We went to Salt Lake and visited my grandma before she leaves her mission. I am oh so proud of her for serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Family History Center. She is absolutely amazing. While in SLC I got to also see my sissy and her friend Jared(yes this is a shout out).
Best thing: it was 62 degrees in Utah. Miracle!! While shopping I had the desire to buy sandals but then remembered that the Burg consists of slush, sweater, and boot weather. I did shop my little heart out and went to Forever 21 once with Kinny then again when Ave went in, so of course I was that weirdo who already had a bag but was like, "yes, it's me again." My new favorite thing to say; "hunters green." That's the new color I am attracted to.
Ate the most yummy food, probably gained 12 pounds but that's alright. Our hotel had Nutella spread in the little packets so of course I took four extras. It's a good thing I got some Nike running shoes, so I think that evens things out right?
Music and the Spoken Word was wonderful! If you have never gone, make it a goal to go. Mormon Tabernacle choir live is amazing! I love being anywhere on temple square and I love the Salt Lake Temple. Beautiful!

On the way home I enjoyed listening to my old stuff. Jonas Brothers I have missed you and Jesse McCartney where did you go!?

| Baha, miss these guys. |
Best part of the ride home though besides listening to my kiddie music was studying the Book of Mormon. This week in my religion class I have to write a paper on the enemies of Christ. As I studied I realized that worldly things distract us from reaching our full potential. I know that things of the world will only satisfy us temporarily (I love and hate that word). I want everlasting happiness and I know that I can only do that if I center my life on Jesus Christ. If I do so I know that everything else will fall into place. Love y'all!
